The Alliance for Law & Fashion in Africa (ALFA) has published the African Fashion Law & Policy Index, Edition 1.0, the first comprehensive, multi-jurisdictional reference of laws and policies governing the fashion industry across the African continent.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has formally announced its adoption of the Afroliganza Vision, a pan-African initiative aimed at repositioning fashion, culture, and creative enterprise as instruments of economic development, regional integration, and cultural diplomacy.
